I was recently talking with a friend about Denise Duffield Thomas’ book Chillprenuer. I’m currently listening to it on audible. Honestly, this is probably my 100th time listening to it. Ok, maybe not my 100th time. But I’ve definitely listened to it over five times within the past year, for sure. It’s so good and every time I listen to it, I hear something new.

Creating Your Keyless Life

My favorite chapter in the book is the chapter about creating a Keyless life. I’m not going to go into too much detail about it. If you want to know more about how Denise implements this in her life, definitely check out her book.

The general idea of creating a Keyless life is essentially finding ways to make your life easier. This is something I first started to implement in my business life and lately I’ve carried it into my personal life also.

In business, something that has changed my life is automating my discovery calls and virtual coffee dates.

This can also be useful for people who need to set up calls for interviews and personal meetings. For instance the other day, a friend/old client wanted to chat. Since she and I have done business together, she was aware of this system I set up. So she went on my website and booked a time for us to talk.

Once the person setting up the meeting confirms a time and date, the meeting gets added to both of our calendars with a link to join the call. It’s SO easy and life changing. You no longer have to worry about the back and forth emails and trying to figure out time zones. Also you can use it even if you don’t have a website.
