Where do I even begin?! First of all thank you so much for stopping by and checking out my site. This entire process has been a true labor of love. I installed my entire website from scratch on a DIY budget and I cannot tell you how excited I am to finally put it out into the world.

But, can I be real? A lot of you guys don’t know this, but this blog has been in the works for quite some time now…like awhile. I was close to hitting publish on my site SEVERAL times but decided not to.

I thought:

“Who am I to teach people about traveling?”

and

“There are so many travel blogs already out there…”

and

“What will I talk about?” and so on.

But the universe clearly wasn’t going to let me give up that easily because over the past few weeks a lot of you have reached out asking me about travel advice. When these comments came flooding in, I knew I needed to create this blog. You guys didn’t know this, but it was the confirmation I needed. Those requests came right on time.

This reminded me of a quote by Marie Forleo that I keep on my phone and read from time to time. For those of you who aren’t familiar with her work, Marie is BOMB! She’s my online business guru. I’m a subscriber to her email list and a few months ago she sent out this message:

“If you have a product or service you believe in- one that truly helps others- it’s your responsibility to do everything you can to market and sell it in the most effective way possible. Because if you don’t, you’re stealing from those who need you most.”

The next time you’re afraid to do something or need a little extra inspiration, think about that quote. It’ll motivate you to share your gifts with the world like I did…finally. 🙂

My goal with this blog is to teach you how to travel on a budget and create amazing experiences traveling and living your best life. Traveling will change your whole life, it changed mine!
