#mood when you know it’s time for a new website/blog, but you’re trying to hold on to the old one. 😜
When was the last time you revamped, switched, or updated your website? Does your website reflect where your biz or brand is going in 2020 + beyond?
I was recently working with a client who needed a new website. One of the main reasons she wanted a new website is because she is pivoting in her business and she wants her new website to reflect her new services, which is common and something I hear often from clients who want to work with me.
Your blog/website is super important if you have a biz. Everything (social media, email marketing, etc.) should drive traffic to your blog and your offer.
If you’ve been thinking about creating a new website for your brand, check out “3 signs you’re ready for a new website” below:
If you haven’t updated your website in the past few years (like 7-10), it’s definitely time for a new website, especially for technical reasons. The technology that is used on websites today is far more advanced and needs to be updated regularly to make sure everything is working properly. You don’t want to send people to a website that isn’t functioning properly. It’s the quickest way to send your audience away.
You want your website/blog to reflect what you’re currently offering. If your offerings aren’t ready to go live just yet, no worries. You can always create a waiting list so that you can notify everyone when your new service/offerings go live. But having your site updated to reflect the new direction your biz is going is key, for sure. You don’t want to confuse your audience.
Having clear navigation on your website is key when it comes to guiding your audience to your specific offer or opt-in. You want to make sure that when someone comes to your website, it’s super easy for them to understand what you and then take action by either becoming a customer or opting into your freebie.
